Traditional English Prints are central to the Country theme. There are plenty of tartans, plaids, herringbone and houndstooth. Woolen tweedy tailored garments are very popular from traditional riding jackets to tailored wide leg herringbone pants- think a weekend on the farm in country England and there you have it.
Tartans and plaids come in a variety of items from punkish pleated mini- skirts to traditional calf length skirts with riding boots. You can add these prints in so many ways and the easiest is through accessories such as scarves, bags and shoes.

FASHION UPDATE
Red is THE hit colour for Autumn/ Winter. You can be bold and get a red winter jacket or more demure by adding accents of red through your jewellery, a scarf or even shoes in a slick patent finish. Everyone has Red in their palette- we just suit different tones. You will be able to find a red out there that suits you this winter so have fun with it!
The Boho look is back with a twist. The key print is paisley seen in dresses, scarves and bags. You'll  also see fringes on bags, shoes, vests and jackets as well as heavy embroidery and fur trim.Think Woodstock and modernise it by matching it with tailored pieces and beautiful winter boots.
One of the hit items is the Gilet- a thick plush textured waistcoat made of shearling or fake fur. Make sure the waistcoat doesn't make you look too bulky- it should have shape and fabulous texture.
This season is rich with sophisticated black and bold sets of chains that break the monotonous single tone. Think gothic with a Chanel flavour- a little feminine softness to the edgy black tailoring. Look out for Tuxedo jackets, slim line pants and layered short skirts
Accessories can have impressive hardware details such as zips, studs, chains or fringes. Or in contrast the androngeny can be broken with frills, sheer fabrics, mongolian fur, buckles and bows.
There are many garments that are streamlined and elegant in their simplicity this season. The focus here is on the fabric and fit of the clothes rather than excessive layering or print.
Think of quality pieces here and fabric that keeps it's voluminous shape. Be selective with accessories and keep them clean and chic.

In keeping with the minimal look- lines and shape have become more relevant. This season you will see sculptured collars, shapely sleeves and cocoon shapes. Big shoulders are back- a little different to the 80's, it's not thorough shoulder pads, rather through structured tailoring
Flick up your jacket collar and make a  statement this winter.
Lace appears in many items of clothing this season- from the elegant evening dress to a sumptous shirt or even a trim on a bag. The lace varies from the thick heavily patterned or fine weave on a sheer top.
You will see lace in shoes too from high heels to full knee length boots

Long Cardigans
Long line cardigans from mid hip to the knee are everywhere this winter. Some are elegant & chic and others are soft & homely. Textured, fur trimmed, cable knit or simple. Often pulled in at the waist with a belt
Cowl and Standing necklines
This season the cowl neckline has grown bigger by proportion. It adds to the sculptural nature of a knitted garment. The Standing neckline also adds dimension and can be seen in coats, jackets and shirts.
Tie Neckline
The tie neckline has come back to high fashion and can be seen in many blouses. It is a great feminine accent under a corporate suit or can be a singular feature of a satin blouse for evening. The neckline can be left draped or tied in a bow.
Large Collars and Fur
This season the easiest way to update your winter jacket is to add a large faux fur collar. The plush look of faux fur can be seen in cardigans, jackets, knitwear and as a cape with a dress. Look out for flat, wide, large collars. A special trend utilises feathers as a feature collar on equisite clothes.
A-line and trapese
These coats hang loose from the shoulder and need a firm fabric to hold their shape. They are waistless and sleeves may also have a matching A-line
Belted Coats
The trench Coat continues this season. Blue is a very polupar hue for this season and Teal is a close second.
Seamed Waisted Coats
These coats are influenced by the 60's Pea coat. They are double breasted and have strong tailoring. They come in 2 lengths- mid hip & above the knee.
Biker Jackets
Invest in a Biker Jacket and wear it this season and next. Shaped and featuring zips these leather constructed jackets ar a great casual option.
Military Jacket

Think Beatles or for those who are younger- Cold Play. These jackets are adorned with braid and metal buttons.
